Job Title:  Senior  Land  Management  Officer
Qualifications and skills
•    A Honors  Bachelors  degree  in  Surveying  or  Geometrics or  Law or  Land  Economics , or  Land  Management  or  Physical planning or  Urbun  Planning  or  Regional Planning  , or  any  other  relevant

  qualification.
•    Qualification from a  recognized  institution .
Experience
•    At least  three  years of  relevant  experience  at  officer level  from  a  recognized   institution.
Duties and responsibilities
•    Enforcing  compliance   with national  policies , strategies , programs  and guidelines  on land , housing  and urbun development  within  the District.
•    Co-ordinating  the development  and enforcement  of District Council  bye-laws  and
•    Ordinances  on sustainable use  and   development  of  land , planned housing  and  human  settlement .

Applications  in triplicate are invited from  suitably  qualified Ugandans  for the above post  which exists  at the District  and must be submitted  to the Secretary  District Service Commission  .
Application  PSC  Form  3 (PSF  3  Revised  2008) is obtained from  Secretaries  District  Service Commission  , Kampala. Serving  Officers  should route their  applications  through their Heads of Departments. Certified copies  of all  relevant  certificates /transcripts  in triplicate  and three recent passport  photos must be attached . For posts  where experience  is needed , copies  of letters  of appointments, confirmations,  promotions  if any  should  be attached .
