- Participate in biodiversity baseline surveys
- Advise on the restoration of well pads and company's long-term biodiversity programsMain Job Responsibility
- Participate in biodiversity baseline surveys
- Conduct botanical elements of environmental studies and prepare related reports on the following areas: baseline surveys, resources management, or management of large scale conservation projects.
Qualifications and skills
- University degree or at least 5 years field experience in this field
- Technical proficiency as a botanist, with excellent taxonomical skills and demonstrable knowledge of plants of the region that the company is working in including including the major invasive species encountered
- Good working knowledge of GIS/GPS
- Experience in restoration ecology would be an added advantage
- Strong verbal and written skills
