Job Title : ACESO Program Manager

The Makerere University Walter Reed Project (MUWRP) is a non-profit HIV Research program that was established in 2002 as a result of a memorandum of understanding between University and the Henry M. Jackson founded for Advancement of Military Medicine Inc.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Submit monthly , quarterly and annual narrative reports on project progress to ACESO Uganda Country Director , ACESO Deputy Director and MUWRP’S Head of Resaerch and Scientific Affairs
• Liaise with MUWRP administration to produce timely financial management reports for the project .
• Other duties as assigned and as necessary to accomplish the project’s mission

 Qualifications and skills
• MBChB , or a degree in other health related profession MPH is added advantage .
• Demonstrated competence in research management including data management , scientific report writing , GCP/ICH training
• Knowledge of Regulatory requirements
• Good interpersonal , organizational and communication skills are essential
• Experience in a similar position is an added advantage
