Reports to: Principal Research Fellow

 Duties and Responsibilities:e
•    Undertake empirical sectoral policy research and analysis
•    Engage in commissioned work for and on behalf of the centre
•    Based in research findings and sound analysis, contribute to national policy discourse
•    Guide research and capacity building activities of research fellows and Assistant Research Fellows
•    Mentor and coach Research Fellows and Assistant Research Fellows

Qualifications and Skills
•    Excellent academic background with a Ph.D in Economics or any other related area in economics from a reputable university.
•    Must be a breast with sector policies in education, health, agriculture, water and sanitation
•    Must be conversant with development challenges in the above mentioned sectors
•    Must have econometric impact evaluation techniques
•    Excellent writing and presentation skills
•    Strong training background in theory and methods of economic analysis
