Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator
The Ministry of Health Uganda is inviting qualified candidates for the vacant vacancy which is mentioned above.Key Job Functions:
• Installing new and or rebuilding existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals , services , settings , directions , storage , etc . in accordance with standards and project /operational requirements
• Installing and configuring software systems procured from outside or designed in-house
• Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures
• Contributing to and maintain system standards

Key Qualifications and skills:
• Must possess a Masters degree in Computer Science from a recognized University
Experience
• At least six years of experience in administering complex computer systems in a large organization
• Experience configuring and administering Internet Filitering and Infusion Protection Systems
Competencies
• Knowledge of Programming languages and operating systems
• Ability to plan , organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with institutional policies /procedures
• Establish and maintain cooperation , understanding , trust and credibility
• Must possess a Masters degree in Computer Science from a recognized University
Experience
