Job Description

Job Purpose:
The major purpose of the Product Support Sales Representatives is to maximize caterpillar equipment user satisfaction and acceptance for dealer parts and service products.
They will also assist caterpillar equipment users in achieving low operating costs through recommending cost effective options and appropriate product support programs aimed at helping the customer make informed decisions
The Main Purpose of the Prime Products Sales Engineers is to perform effective customer and prospect coverage and provide solutions to the customers by seiling to them machines or generators.

Major Tasks include:

• Visit customers, both old and new Promptly and effectively resolve customercomplaints.
• Sell the companies parts and service opportunities or prime products.
• Ensure prompt delivery of parts and services or prime products and corresponding invoices to the customer
• Achieve the set targets and performance objectives.
• Follow up on invoices to ensure payments by the customers.
• Preparation and updating customers’ profile list in sales force
• Accurate completion and timely submission of call and sales reports and other related reports in sales force daily
• Assist in the development of product or product support merchandising programs.

Qualifications/ experience and competencies

1. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical engineering or related engineering field.
2. Technical experience is important
3. Sales experience is a requirement.
4. Must be computer literate
5. Must have a valid driving license
6. Writing and reporting skilis
7. Good communication and presentation skills
8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
9. Initiate and generate activity and make promptclear decisions.
