Job Title: Head, Corporate Social Investment_Organisation: Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited (SBU)
Job Location: Kampala, UgandaKey Duties & Responsibilities:_· Provide SBU with expertise in CSI management· Implementing the CSI policy and strategy_ · Translate the CSI strategy and CSI policy into meaningful activities_ · Support the activities of such structures as may be established by the Board of SBU for the implementation of the CSI strategy and policy
· Engage with business units and partners to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of CSI programmes
· Ensure that efficient systems and processes exist for the implementation of the CSI programme
· Be accountable for the co-ordination and operational management of SBU CSI
· Be the spokesperson for CSI in SBU
· Oversee the engagement of SBU with development and other partners
· Efficient tracking, management, monitoring and reporting of the SBU CSI programme to SBU management and Standard Bank Group
· Oversee the development of marketing and communication plans for CSI
· Take overall accountability for CSI and Employee Community Involvement reputation risk management within SBU
· Take accountability for escalating any potential reputational risks to SBU management
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· At least five years of experience in corporate social investment or responsibility or related field such as public policy, management consulting or non-profit work.
Bachelor’s degree in a field such as philanthropic studies, social sciences or communications.
· Community relations/corporate social investment or responsibility or philanthropy programme management experience
· Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
· Excellent financial management skills Strong cross-functional and cross-disciplinary project management skills
· Consensus building skills across various stakeholder groups High attention to detail Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
· Desire to work and thrive in a team-oriented work environment
· Flexibility to change in a rapidly evolving business
· Self-motivation
· Relationship building e-networking
