Job Title: Contracts Engineer

Duty station: CNOOC Uganda Limited
The CNOOC   Uganda Limited  is seeking  to employ  qualified suitable applicants  to fill the vacant post above.

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Participate and perform  all  procurement  -related activities including  but not limited to; market survey, pre-qualification, establishment  of bidders list, preparation of  RFP  package, RFP  releasing , bid opening,  bid  evaluation , clarification , RTA  preparation and  contract  execution.
•    Perform  in  Contractor  Management .
•    Responsible  for  contract maintenance , document  control and other  post award administration issues.
•    Other duties  assigned  by the line  Manager.
Qualifications
•    Technical  Degree  in Petroleum  Engineering , Petrochemicals , Machinery or equivalent .
•    Additional qualification in Procurement  or  Purchasing  & Supplies
•    Minimum five years  related work experience in contracts and  procurement , preferably  on overseas project
Knowledge
•    Due experience in  Contracts and procurements
•    Knowledge in engineering , energy industry and machinery.
•    Knowledgeable  in engineering , energy industry and machinery.
•    Familiar with  the  supply  marketplace,  major suppliers  and products , and industry dynamics/drivers
