Title: Assistant Health Officer
Pallisa  Local Government  is inviting  qualified suitable applicants  to fill the vacant position above .
Qualifications and skills

1. ·         A Bachelors degree  in Nursing  or  Bachelors  of Public Health  Nursing from a recognized institution;
2. ·         With  Post Graduate Diploma  in Health  Services Management  or  related  Management
3. ·         Qualification from a recognized  Institution  or Double trained  Nurse with a  Masters  Degree in Public Health  or equivalent health management  Qualification
4. ·         Must be registered  with Uganda Nurses  and Midwives  Council.
5. Duties
6. ·         Planning and  budgeting  for  Maternal   Child Health and nursing  services in the  District
7. ·         Implementing  National Child  Health  Policy, Plans  and programs
8. ·         Coordinating  the delivery  of quality  MCH   and  Nursing  services in the  District;
9. ·         Surpervising and  appraising staff  under  his/ her  jurisdiction;
