Brief summary of the job
•    To  manage  and run a media  liaison  section  that supports  information  exchange , networking  and
•    Dissemination  of population and development  concerns  among  local , national  and  international media .


Duties and Responsibilities
•    To  spearhead  implementation of the  organizations  media  advocacy  and communication  strategy.
•    To assess  media  professional  training needs  and organize  and conduct  skills  development  workshops
•    Perform  any  other  duties  as  and  when  directed  by  competent  authority .

Qualifications and Skills
•    A  University  degree  in media  studies  , journalism , mass  communication  plus  appropriate training  in practical  strategic  communication  and media  fields
•    Editorial  skills  with  some  knowledge  of population  issues 
•    Three  years  post  qualifications  experience  in the  communications  field  preferably  in a  media  house  setting .
•    Knowledge  in social  media  will  be  an added  advantage
