Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate, timely and regular financial statements Prepare and present financial plans, budgets and other financial documents as required by the Board and the

• Formulate financial policies and procedures and ensure compliance thereto
• Regulate, supervise and implement accurate books of accounts
• Implement a financial audit on a regular and continuous basis for purposes of monitoring the Authority’s financial performance
• Maintain stringent financial controls systems in order to monitor budget against expenses
• Guide, control and monitor the level of compliance to financial regulations and reporting standards
• Ensure that the Authority complies with all audits, accounting and reporting requirements as set by the statutory bodies
• Alert or warn the Board of directors of financial irregularities, non-compliance, non-adherence and other financial concerns that relate to the Authority
• Collaborate and coordinate activities with external auditors, financial consultants etc.
• Define the HR strategy and policies of the Authority in line with the overall organizational strategy
• Develop URBRA’s human resources and administration, enhancing professional development, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, training and recruiting.
• Ensure that recruiting processes are consistent and streamlined
• Establish and manage a comprehensive training program
• Oversee administrative functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations for submission to the CEO and the board of directors

Required Education & Experience:
• A Master's degree in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Financial Management, or a Business related field
• Post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management or Public Administration is an added advantage
• A professional qualification in CPA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA
• Membership in a relevant professional body
• A seasoned Finance or Accounting professional with a minimum often (10) years of financial management experience at senior management
