Job title:  Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) C

The Job roles

Reporting to the Country Director and working closely with the Oxfam Country Leadership Team. . Program Leads/Managers and other functional teams of all the Oxfam affiliates in Uganda, you will contribute to improved quality of t our work in Uganda. You will be responsible for the development of MEAL systems for the Oxfam Joint Country Strategy (JCAS) and resulting programs; establish a system to monitor, evaluate, report and document learning from all programs. In addition, you will work with the program teams to develop effective systems and tools that help to fulfil OXFAM’s program standards. You will serve as the to go to person’ on all Single Management Structure (SMS) MEAL needs of the Oxfam team. The organisation offers attractive remuneration package with minimum starting gross salary of Ugx. 6,645,511/= and excellent opportunities for growth.

Key Requirement:

The person we are looking for will have a graduate degree in International Development, economics, Project management, with specialized training in monitoring and evaluation or a combined professional qualification and sound experience.
To do this job you will have strong analytical and excellent communication skills; proven experience in developing program theories of change; implementing, monitoring and evaluating programs & projects.
Strong technical competence in research, learning and monitoring and evaluation methods, theory and practice; good critical grasp of latest sector thinking, codes, standards and practice is essential, as is an excellent understanding and experience of partnerships & accountability when applied to programming Three years of direct, "hands-on" working experience in designing strategic level Reviews,
Learning, and monitoring systems is a desirable; will have worked in a reputable private, governmental or non-governmental organisation.
You will have demonstrable multi cultural and team competencies as well as interpersonal awareness and ability to influence others.
