Brief Job Description: Abaana  Ministries is  a Christian  based  charity organization  whose  goal  is to give  support  and help to children  in need  through  sponsorship.

Skills and Qualifications
•    The candidate  must  have  a  degree  or diploma  in social  work  or child care/development , including  counseling skills , with some kind  of Bible  school  or Christian  theology  an advantage .  They should  also  have experience  or training in project  management , such as managing  staff, budgets ,  planning  and monitoring
Experience
•    The  candidate  must have  experience  working  with  vulnerable  children  in a  residential  setting  and  idearlly experience  working  for a  Christian  NGO  or development  agency .

Successful  applicants  will be  invited  for interview during  the week starting  Monday 22nd   july.  Abaana  is ideally  looking for someone to begin immediately , though will bear  in mind  candidates ‘ notice periods , if they are working .  The role  will  begin  with  a 6  month  probabationary  period . Contracts  in Abaana  are  usually made  on a  2  year  renewal basis.
