Brief Job Description: Abaana  Ministries is  a Christian  based  charity organization  whose  goal  is to give  support  and help to children  in need  through  sponsorship.

Qualifications and skills
•    A  degree  or diploma  in social  work  or child care /development , together  with counseling  training  or experience , with  some  kind  of  Bible  school  or  Christian theology   setting, an advantage  .
Experience
•    The  candidate  must have  experience  working with  vulnerable children  in a residential setting  and/or
•     Experience  working  for a  Christian  NGO  or  development  agency .

Successful  applicants  will be  invited  for interview during  the week starting  Monday 22nd   july.  Abaana  is ideally  looking for someone to begin immediately , though will bear  in mind  candidates ‘ notice periods , if they are working .  The role  will  begin  with  a 6  month  probabationary  period . Contracts  in Abaana  are  usually made  on a  2  year  renewal basis.
