Duties and Responsibilities
• You will be required to develop, produce and present periodic financial reporting statements for the Company, for both internal and external
requirements.
• You will be required to adhere to the company accounting policies, practices, procedures, the International Financial Reporting Standards
(IFRS) and other legal/statutory/regulatory requirements.
• You will be required to help in designing, documenting, implementing and monitoring the appropriate internal controls to deliver sound financial management.
• You will be required to manage receivables and payables.
• You will partner with the Operations Manager, and the Marketing team on issues related to financial analysis and projections.
• You will maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register.
• You will provide periodic key insights into the condition of business, cash flow positions and investment portfolios.
• You will ensure costs are within approved budget.
• You will be involved in preparation of annual budgets.
• You will arrange and co-ordinate annual audits with external auditors within the time frame as required by the regulatory bodies.
• You will perform any other related official duties as may be assigned by the Financial Controller.

Qualifications and Skills
• University degree in Finance and /or Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years senior management financial experience.
• Professional Accounting qualification prerequisite (Full CPA and / or ACCA).
• MBA in Finance and /or accounting is an added advantage.
• Demonstrate experience in financial governance.
• Sound understanding of the Insurance environment within and outside Uganda.
