Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda is a not-for-profit child health and development organisation providing child-focused and family-centered HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services, health professional training and clinical research in Uganda. It is affiliated to Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a global partnership established in 1996 by Baylor College of Medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, USA. Activities under the Baylor-Uganda paediatric HIV/AIDS programme include; HIV primary prevention, positive prevention among HIV-positive people, basic HIV/AIDS palliative care, provision of ARVs, psychosocial support, services for orphans and vulnerable children and capacity building for healthcare providers.

The Key Result Areas
• Review, develop and monitor the implementation of the Human Resource Records management policies and procedures in line with the Baylor Uganda HR manual
• Design, maintain and update hardcopy and electronic databases of personnel information system in line with the Baylor Uganda HR manual
• Carry out routine records management operations such as: Record retrieval. Records transfer, storage & disposal. Vital record protection, Inventory, Data entry of active and inactive Human Resource hardcopy and electronic records in line with the Baylor-Uganda HR manual
• Create new files and maintain accurate complete records for the related hardcopy and electronic information in line with Baylor-Uganda Records management guidelines

Key Job specifications
The job holder should have:
(1). A Degree in library science and Records management and any other relevant degree. (2). At least l-2years experience in Records Management, skills in managing electronic records with a reputable international NGO
(3). have key personal competences in team and communication skills, problem solving skills, networking skills, ability to pay attention to detail. Must be dynamic, self- motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative and analytical skills
(4). Knowledge of common Statistical analysis and database management packages. Computer packages; Microsoft Ms Access, Ms Excel, Ms Word,
(5). the candidate must be 25-30 years.
