Job title:- District Education Officer
Qualifications and skills;
•    Should hold  an Honors  Bachelor Degree  in Education  from a recognized  university  or  institution ;
either  , a Master  Degree  in  Education  Planning and management  or Human Resource management   or Public  Administration  and management  or other related  managerial  fields  from a recognized  university  or  institution .
Experience;
•    Should have  a minimum  Should have a minimum of  9 years working experience  in management  of an educational  institution  or gained  from  professional  experience in a  managerial  capacity  at the  level  of  Principal  Education Officer .

Key Duties ;
•    Implementing  Education laws ,  policies and  regulations ; implementing approved  education and  sports development  plans , strategies  and council decisions ; providing technical  and professional  advice ; organizing  and facilitating  teachers  training  programs  ;
•    Coordinating  school  inspection  and sports programs  and  maintaining  an  updated  teachers  personal  data bank.
