Background Information:
Our client CAROIL Uganda, a part of CAROIL Tuscany International Drilling Group involved in drilling operations in Uganda is seeking experienced Ugandans in the oil field to fill  the above  positions;
 
1. Operation Manager:
Responsible for the overall operational and financial functions of the rig with special emphasis on the drilling operations, coordinating all phases of the operations for effective and efficient performance and ensuring that drilling operations are carried out strictly in accordance with terms of contract and company policies.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
•    Supervise maintenance, procurement and logistical departments.
•    Responsible for operations and cost reports for rig and explanation of variances.
•    Develop and maintain cordial relations with operational level representatives of the customer.
•    Ensure that line managers comply with and promote safety and company policies.
Requirements:- Should be Ugandan
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position in the oilfield or 15 years of experience in oil rig or in oilfield office administration.
International Well Control Certification (IWCF) at Supervisory Level. (The certification should not have expired more than 2 years ago.)
