Laboratory Coordinator: Laboratory Logistics And Supplier jobs opportunity at Ministry Of Health in Uganda

Job title/: Laboratory Coordinator
Country/ location: Uganda ,City Location: Kampala
Key Job functions:
• Participating in the development of national policy and guidelines related to laboratory logistics and supplies
• Coordinating the development and periodic reviews of equipment and supplies list with specifications
• Coordinating laboratory equipment procurement placement and maintenance including contact management
• Monitoring laboratory commodities distribution and prepare monthly stock status reports
• Manage laboratory logistics data in collaboration with MoH resources center
• Preparing periodic performance reports for submission to relevant authorities
• Monitoring and evaluating the activities in relation to the national laboratory logistics management

Required Skills and qualification Qualifications:
• Must possess a bachelors degree in medical laboratory sciences OR advanced diploma in medical technology from a recognized university
• Must possess a master in procurement and supply chain management from recognized university
Experience:
• Must have at least nine years relevant working experience three of which should have been in procurement and logistics management at national or regional level within the health sector
Competences:
• Demonstrated ability in planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Communication, networking and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under high pressure to meet targets
• Ability to coach and mentor others
