Job Title: Maintenance Controllers – Brewing, Packaging and Utilities (4 Positions)
Location: Mbarara, Uganda

Nile Breweries Limited is a leading beverage company in Uganda and a subsidiary of SABMiller – the second largest brewing group in the world. It seeks to recruit highly motivated, results oriented and dynamic professionals for the following positions for its up-coming operations in Mbarara District.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
·         Provide technical expertise to shift teams that optimizes the packaging process and performance to ensure maintenance integrity
·         Maintain safe, healthy and risk free working environment
·         Optimize plant and equipment availability
·         Manage planned maintenance system integrity and optimal usage
·         Manage HR and team performance management

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         Degree or its equivalent in Engineering or minimum of a Higher Diploma in Engineering plus SABM packaging diploma
·         1 -2 years as mechanical or electrical technician or 3-4 years as mechanical artisan or electrician within the Brewing/ packaging industry
·         Knowledge of manufacturing way
·         Familiarity with health, safety and environment and maintenance systems (e.g COSWIN)
·         Good understanding of packaging operational processed and technologies.
