Job Title: Credit Administrators
Report to: the Branch Manager and supervises Credit Officers.
Our client, one of the leading Microfinance Deposit Taking Institutions in Uganda, is looking for professionally confident, self-motivated, committed team players, to reinforce their capacity by filling the following vacant positions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: -
· Participating in setting loan targets for individual credit staff in the branch in accordance with the branch targets.
· Providing safe custody for the loan securities & files in line with the company’s guidelines.
· Verifying and ensure authenticity and completeness of all loan documents in line with the lending guidelines.
· Planning, organizing and documenting proceedings of the loan approval and recovery committee meetings in line with the company’s lending policies.
· Evaluating the performance of the loan portfolio and generate periodic reports in line with the company’s guidelines.
· Reviewing and resolving client queries and complaints in order to maintain quality service delivery in the department.
· Reviewing & evaluating performance management of subordinate staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· Bachelors’ degree from reputable Institutions with good grades in Commerce, Economics, Microfinance, Development Studies, Business Studies, Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Financial Services, Business Computing, Business Statistics, Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management, Social Sciences, SWASA or Education.
· Should have at least 2 year’s working experience and above in Credit Administration from a financial institution.
· Should be willing to work in any part of the country.
· Should be compliant, with a track record of integrity, efficiency, procativeness and reliability.
· Should have excellent team building, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Should possess the impact and influence leadership skills, business and customer awareness skills with the ability to manage change and grow business.
· Should be aged between 25 – 33 years of age and should be fluent in commonly used local languages.
