Role Definition
To execute financial transactions, prepare financial records and prepare financial reports in accordance with International Acceptable Accounting Standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and process data on the Secretariat's administrative expenses and disbursement to Designated Agencies for analysis. Counseling and Guidance
Manage payables and receivable registers of the Fund. Prepare, code payment vouchers and post transactions in the computerized financial management system.
Prepare periodic financial reports on quarterly absorption pertormance of Desiqnated Agencies.
Collect data, verIfy and prepare quarterly performance reports of Designated Agencies for input into the absorption report of Management.
Prepare and administer the monthly payroll in coordination and close consultation with the Human Resource function of tile Fund.
Manage petty cash and accountability in line with the petty cash policy of tile Fund.
Archive financial records of the Fund and retrieve such records upon request by Management.
Perform any other duties assiqned by Management from time to time.
 
Qualifications & Experience:
I. A bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration or Accounting or Financial Management or equivalent qualification;
ii. Must be pursuing a professional qualification in ACCA or CPA
iii. Minimum of 2 year experience gained in a reputable agency.
Skills and Abilities:
 i. Computer literacy
ii. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
iii. Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising Quality.
iv. Demonstrable team leadership and good organization skills.
Age Limit : Not more than 30 years
Gross Salary: UGX. 3,500,000 p.m.
 
Salary and Benefits
The position will be offered under a contract of 3 years, renewable subject to performance. Attractive salaries and benefits will be available to the right candidates.
